We love Christmas at Moor Pool Heritage Trust! This year, our community is rolling out a warm, creative and magical Christmas programme of events, full of fun for all ages. Whether you’re looking for handmade gifts, cosy workshops or a magical visit with Santa, here’s what’s on at Moor Pool this festive season.
Date: Friday 7th November 2025, 10.30am – 12.30pm
Location: Carless Eco Centre
Cost: £8 per person. Pre-booking required.
Transform reclaimed pallet wood into rustic Christmas trees in this hands-on workshop. All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with something unique to display or gift.
Date: Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd November 2025, 10am – 4pm

Cost: Free
Find high quality, unusual gifts from local artists and makers while supporting Gumboots Foundation, a charity which helps to improve the lives and opportunities of disadvantaged South African children and young people.

Browse stalls by 25 local artists and makers offering one-of-a-kind handmade gifts. There will also be hot drinks and cakes to warm you up while you shop.

The Moor Pool Robins are back for Christmas 2025! Find our nine crochet feathered friends around the Estate. Pick up a trail map at the front of the hall from Monday 1st December.

Cost: £25 per person. Pre-booking required.
Create a beautiful wreath from foraged greenery in this creative workshop. All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with something unique to hang on your door. Mince pies and mulled wine included!

Bring your children and grandchildren to meet Santa in his grotto! A ticket includes a gift and craft activities. Tickets must be pre-booked, and there will be photo opportunities and refreshments available to buy.
