Circle Cinema: I Swear

About this event

Moor Pool’s resident film club, Circle Cinema, are screening I Swear on Sunday 1st March.

I Swear is a 2025 Scottish biographical drama film directed, written, and produced by Kirk Jones. It is based on the true life story of John Davidson, a Scottish man with severe Tourette’s syndrome, and follows his life primarily following the 1989 television documentary John’s Not Mad, at a time when his condition was barely identifiable.

Start time is 7.15pm with doors open at 6.15pm for the usual hot food and drinks.

Tickets on the door are £6 for non-members or £1 for members.

You can also renew your membership on the door (or join for the first time) at a cost of £25. This will save you £5 on each film and give you the opportunity to vote on films that Circle Cinema show in 2026, their 10th anniversary year.
