We’re looking forward to our annual plant sale at the Carless Eco Centre on Saturday 24th May between 11 and 3! We will be selling plants, tools and cakes, and there will also be a free mud kitchen and sunflower seed planting for children.
Here’s a look at what our brilliant gardening volunteers have been potting up for you to buy:
- Aquilegia
- Aubergine
- Basil
- Borlotti bean
- Cosmos
- Fuchsia
- Geranium
- Kale
- Lupin
- Marigold
- Mint
- Nasturtium
- Nigella
- Oxalis
- Pepper
- Rose Campion
- Sweet pea
- Verbena
We would also welcome any donations of plants that you might have going spare. Get in touch with Justine by emailing education@moorpoolhall.com to arrange a time to drop them off.
We’ll be accepting cash or card payments on the day and we recommend coming down early to get your pick of the pots. All profits from the plant sale go back into the Trust’s work to conserve Moor Pool’s heritage and community spaces for future generations. See you there!
