Welcome to the Moor Pool Tree Stories Trail, please pick up a map and follow the circle of trees located around and across the Moor Pool Estate. Use the helpful map as a guide and let your tree hunting skills go wild as you get creative finding and measuring the species of trees.
Keep an eye out for some of the big contrasts between Moor Pool’s greenery during the late 1970’s and the trees today and use that as you embark on your virtual QR code trail.
Begin your journey, further round the Circle as you should find a group of trees that share a very distinctive white bark which can peel off in strips. Scan the QR code located nearby for further information on the story of this set of trees.
Before you go, make sure you take lots of pictures of the trees you find and be ready to learn about the stories and history of Moor Pool’s trees.
