Step into history, one stride at a time, with the Moor Pool 5k Summer Challenge!
Do you fancy getting active while enjoying the Arts & Crafts splendour of Moor Pool this summer? Complete a 5k anywhere around Moor Pool over the six week summer holiday period (Saturday 19th July to Sunday 31st August) to help us raise £5,000 and you’ll be rewarded with a unique Moor Pool medal to be presented at the Moor Pool Heritage Festival on Sunday 14th September.

The Moor Pool 5k Summer Challenge is open to everyone of all ages! You can run, walk or complete the challenge in a wheelchair anywhere on the Moor Pool Estate, in one go or spread the distance out over the six weeks.
Why not join with friends to complete the challenge as a group? You could challenge each other to run faster or make it fun by dressing up!
Register at www.evententry.com between 2nd June and 4th August.
Registration fees are £10 for an individual or £25 for a family (up to 2 adults and 3 children).
Your registration fee includes a unique Moor Pool medal for all participants. You will also receive a virtual race number and online results, as well as special recognition awards!
Once you have registered as an individual or family at www.evententry.com you will have access to the portal, where you can download your unique virtual bib number (unique number per individual or per family) and submit proof of your run, walk or roll.
The 5k can be done in one go or the distance spread over the 6 week period. It can be walked, run or undertaken in a wheelchair but not by bike, car or scooter!
The 5k must be completed within the Moor Pool Estate Conservation Area, which includes the following roads: The Circle, Wentworth Gate, Moor Pool Avenue, North Gate, Park Edge, West Pathway, East Pathway, Margaret Grove, Carless Avenue, High Brow, Nettlefold Garden, Ravenhurst Road.

The funds raised will help us continue to conserve and preserve the character of the spaces that you have enjoyed on your route, and improve our facilities for the local and wider community to enjoy.
