As leaves turn golden and the air feels crisp, Moor Pool hosts a series of enchanting events during the October half term – perfect for families looking to celebrate spooky season in true community style!

Let's Do Lego! Free stay and play session

When: Thursday 29th October 10am – 12pm
Where: Main Hall, Moor Pool Hall
What to expect: Moor Pool’s ever-popular Let’s Do Lego stay and play session. Free to attend, with no booking needed, just pop in. Expect creative building, friendly chatter, plus cake and drinks for sale to enjoy while you (or the kids) construct the next Lego masterpiece. We have lots of different bricks so there’s something for everyone to play with, from toddlers to teens.

Halloween Craft Party

When: Friday 30th October 10am – 1pm
Where: Main Hall, Moor Pool Hall
What to Expect: Creative mayhem awaits! Children can get stuck into spooky-themed crafts, with all materials provided for just £5 per child (under 2’s go free). No booking necessary, just turn up. Cake and drinks will be on sale. Come in your spookiest fancy dress costume!

Nettlefold Garden's Spooktacular

When: Friday 30th October 5 – 6pm
Where: Nettlefold Garden, Margaret Grove B17 9JH
What to Expect: A spine-tingling yet family-friendly outdoor gathering where carved pumpkins compete for prizes – bring yours along and join in the fun! With refreshments and prizes for everyone who comes in fancy dress, it’s the perfect way to get into the Halloween spirit under the autumn sky. It’s spooky, fun and local! Free to attend.
