Circle Cinema: 10th anniversary double bill

About this event

Moor Pool’s resident film club, Circle Cinema, are screening a double bill to celebrate their 10th anniversary on Sunday 7th June.

There will be a family matinée in the afternoon, film TBC.

And then in the evening, there will be a special one-off screening of the classic film Casablanca – an evening designed to feel a little more like a night at the pictures in the golden age of cinema.

Doors will open early at 5.45pm so you can relax, enjoy a drink, and soak up the atmosphere before the film begins at 7.15pm. As you arrive, a live pianist will be playing to set the mood before the screening starts.

This event is also part of our effort to raise funds for a new cinema screen. Our current screen has served us well for many years, but it has already needed repairs and is increasingly difficult to put up and take down for each screening. With your help, we hope to invest in a new screen that will keep Circle Cinema running smoothly for the next decade and beyond.

We hope you’ll join us for this special anniversary evening.

Tickets on the door are £6 for non-members or £1 for members.
