Do you use the Moor Pool halls?
Do you enjoy the trees and green spaces around the Moor Pool Estate?
Do you enjoy living in a supportive and inclusive community?
Moor Pool is a special place. English Heritage called it a “hidden gem” and an exceptional surviving example of the Arts & Crafts garden suburb movement.
The town planning of Moor Pool was led by John Sutton Nettlefold in 1902. He believed that if people live, socialise, play and work together, then a stronger sense of community develops. Today. the Moor Pool Heritage Trust solely exists to conserve the community assets and protect Moor Pool’s heritage for future generations.
